Sébastien Bigras

The Serbi Farms in St-Eustache display a true family story where every member is involved. Sebastien and Suzanne Bigras, both son and daughter of Serge Bigras, himself a famer’s son, specialize in three major crops: rhubarb, cabbage and tomatoes. As rhubarb is on a serious trend, they have made it their most important crop and invest a lot of effort in generating three harvests per year. Even though they are not certified organic, the Bigras’ are true environmentalists: they subscribe to the ecological current of thought in agriculture and avoid all pesticides on the farm preserving the health of all soil, workers and consumers. You may find their product in several ice cream shops and of course, at La Place des producteurs.
